Reaching the world for Christ
The fall of man
Ps 8:4-5
4
What
is
man,
that
thou
art
mindful
of
him?
and
the
son
of
man,
that
thou
visitest
him?
For
thou
hast
made
him
a
little
lower
than
the
angels,
and
hast crowned him with glory and honour.
What
is
man
the
Psalmist
declared,
that
thou
are
mindful
of
him,
that
thou
shouldest
look
upon
him?
(Psalm
8).
The
Bible
declares
that
God
formed
man
in
his
very
own
image
and
in
his
likeness.
Adam
who
was
the
1st
man
was
the
closest
thing
to
the
heart
of
God
and
God
made
him
hast
a
little
lower
than
himself
(Elohiym
or
the
most
high).
All
Gods
authority
on
the
earth
was
given
to
this
one
creature,
who
the
father
found
joy
to
fellowship
with.
God
had
made
one
of
his
kind,
seeing
the
Bible
declares
that
we
are
gods
just
like
our
heavenly
father
who
is
Lord
of
all.
(Gen
1:
28,
Psalm
82:6).
Man
was
God's
utmost
treasure
and
the
very
apple
of
his
eye,
the
beauty
of
all
he
had
made.
God
placed
Adam
the
1st
man
in
the
garden
he
had
made
for
him
and
had
regular
fellowship
with
him
even
as
seen
in
the
scriptures.
(Gen
2:15
Gen
3:8).
As
we
read
the
Bible,
we
see
that
God’s
enemy
Lucifer
who
once
served
in
the
holy
place
of
his
presence
gets
Adam
to
disobey
the
instructions
of
God
in
regards
to
the
tree
of
the
Knowledge
of
good
and
evil.
(Ezekiel
28:
13-19,
Gen
2:17
Gen
3:1-24).
Man
gained
the
knowledge
of
evil
but
most
of
all
he
lost
fellowship
with
his
maker
who
loved
him
above
all
other
creatures.
Man
became
separated
from
the
very
fellowship
that
made
him
unique
above
all
other
creatures
and
he
also
lost
his
dominion
which
he
had
over
the
earth.
Man
became
a
sinner
and
was
no
longer
in
perfect
fellowship
with
the
giver
of
life
who
is
God.
Every
person
born
on
earth
carried
the
stigma
of
the
1st
Adam
who
fell
in
the
garden
and
was
classed
as
a
sinner
and
was
separated
from
God.
God
told
Adam
that
the
consequence
of
eating
of
the
tree
of
the
knowledge
of
good
and
evil
was
death
which
is
separation
from
fellowship
with
God.
Paul
the
epistle declared in Ephesians 2:1 that we were dead and separated by sins and trespasses from God and were without God in the world.
Eph 2:12
12
That
at
that
time
ye
were
without
Christ,
being
aliens
from
the
commonwealth
of
Israel,
and
strangers
from
the
covenants
of
promise,
having
no
hope, and without God in the world:
Every
one
born
on
earth
was
separated
from
the
very
life
of
God
and
had
no
fellowship
with
him
because
of
the
very
sin
of
Adam.
You
did
not
have
to
do
anything
to
become
a
sinner;
you
were
simply
born
one
by
reason
of
the
transgression
of
the
man
called
Adam.
That
was
why
the
sin
in
the
Garden
was
bigger
than
even
Adam
could
have
imagined.
David
the
King
who
was
also
a
prophet
when
lamenting
over
his
sin
of
adultery
with
Beersheba
declared "in sin did my mother begat me".
Rom 5:12
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Ps 51:5
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
All
men
on
earth
had
fallen
short
of
the
glory
of
God
and
the
Bible
says
were
all
classed
under
sin.
Man
needed
a
redeemer,
someone
to
save
him
from
that
which
was
greater
than
him.
For
all
have
sinned
and
fallen
short
of
the
glory/
mark/
standard
of
God
and
no
amount
of
works
could
restore
him
to fellowship with God. Despite man’s fall from grace and glory, God still had an interest in his true love and that is where we get the salvation story.
