Reaching the world for Christ
Partnership: What God Says?
Partnership has always been Gods idea right from the start, and is clearly seen in creation. The Bible declares in the book of Genesis that
God
said,
"Let
us
make
man
in
our
own
image".
Gods
plan
for
creation
included
the
whole
of
the
Trinity
or
the
Godhead
as
seen
in
his
word
and
that
is
a
pattern
God
has
set
of
which
we
have
to
emulate.
When
God
had
created
all
the
animals
on
earth
and
formed
Adam
in
the
Garden
of
eden,
the
word
declares
"
And
out
of
the
ground
the
Lord
God
formed
every
beast
of
the
field
and
every
foul
of
the
air;
and
brought
them
unto
Adam
to
see
what
he
would
call
them:
And
whatsoever
Adam
called
every
living
creature,
that
was
the
name
thereof."
Genesis
2:
19.
Partnership
is
the
very
nature
of
the
God
we
serve
and
this
principle
continues
throughout
the
ages
seeing
he
never
changes.
God
didn’t
have
to
partner
with
Adam
in
his
doings
but
he
chose
to
because
he
wants
to.
Of
such
a
glorious
privilege,
the Psalmist wrote:
Psalm 8
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2
Out
of
the
mouth
of
babes
and
sucklings
hast
thou
ordained
strength
because
of
thine
enemies,
that
thou
mightest
still
the
enemy
and
the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
KJV
Of
all
the
creatures
made,
God
clearly
favours
man
above
all,
it
declares
in
the
5th
verse
of
Psalm
5
that
he
was
made
a
little
lower
than
the angels (Elohiym or the most high). God loves partnership we are joint heirs with Christ the Bible declares in Romans 8:17.
