Reaching the world for Christ
God prospering you First of all, it is good to know that it is Gods will for us to prosper in as much as he wants us to be in health and a sound mind. (John3:2). God knows that we have need of things and he is also more than able to provide for all our needs. I want us to look at a scripture to get us into what God thinks of our needs and i would also run through God's description of prosperity in line with finances. Luke 12:6-7 6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matt 6:25-26 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air , for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? God is aware that you have needs and your needs are a basic requirement for life and he wants you to take your mind of the worries of these things. Financial prosperity can be described as God providing for all your needs at different phases of his perfect will for your life no matter the amount required. God provides for his plans according to the fullness of his riches in Christ Jesus. When fishes were required to feed the hungry, the Bible declares that Jesus multiplied what was available and all the needs were met. When wine was required at the wedding at Canaan, Jesus turned water into wine and all the needs on the occasion were met. (John 2:1-11) Paul the apostle declared in the book of Philippians "my God shall supply all of your needs, according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus". (Phillipians 4:19). When God wanted Gold to build a temple according to his will, he supplied all the gold that was required for the Israelites from pharaohs’ treasury. What he's called you unto, he supplies in abundance for at different phases of his will in your life. Look at Gods will for your life and ask stand in line with your father to receive your daily bread. As we walk in the giftings that God has given us, he blesses the works of our hands. Deuteronomy 2:7 (KJV) 7 For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing. As we remain faithful in the purpose wherewith we are called, his faithfulness in his call on us raises us and blesses us. Proverbs 22:29 (KJV) 29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 18:16 (KJV) 16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. As we continue in the purpose which we are called, his blessings work in and through us. We work with the spirit of excellence which is seen in all things.
